Sometimes, the best experiences start with a last-minute decision.
Three days before HighLevel LIVE Manila 2026, I still hadn’t booked a place to stay.
I started looking for a condo through Agoda, but because the event was just around the corner, most of the nearby places were already fully booked. I was prepared to stay somewhere farther from the venue.
Then, luckily, I found one.
And the best part?
It was right across the venue.
That last-minute booking turned out to be one of the best decisions I made because I could simply walk across the street and attend the event without worrying about traffic or transportation.
And that’s how my two-day HighLevel LIVE Manila experience began.
The first day started with registration.
I got my HighLevel LIVE Manila ID pass, received the event souvenirs, and, of course, stopped by the merchandise area.
I ended up buying a HighLevel T-shirt because, well… when you’re at an event like this, you have to get a shirt. 😂
After registering, I spent some time walking around the venue and checking out the different booths.
I wasn’t really looking for anything specific.
I just wanted to see what was there, discover new tools, and get a better idea of what’s happening in the GoHighLevel ecosystem.
There were different businesses, tools, communities, and service providers showcasing what they do.
After exploring the booths, I headed inside and started watching the speakers.

I’ve watched plenty of speakers online.
I’ve attended webinars, watched YouTube videos, joined online communities, and learned from people through a screen.
But being physically present at an event like HighLevel LIVE Manila feels different.
You’re sitting in a room filled with people who are learning about the same things you are such as AI, automation, marketing, funnels, business growth, and systems.
You’re not just consuming information.
You’re surrounded by people who are actually building businesses and implementing these strategies in the real world.

And then came one of my favorite parts of Day 1.
I got a souvenir from Michael Reimer, and I also had the opportunity to take photos with some of the event speakers outside the main event room.
Although, let’s be honest…
I had to chase them. 😂
Whenever I spotted a speaker walking around, I’d think:
“Okay, this might be my chance!”
So yes, there was definitely some speaker-chasing involved.
But it was worth it.

Something else happened that I honestly didn’t expect.
Some people approached me and asked to take photos with me.
That was such a surreal experience.
I’m so used to being behind the camera, creating content, doing livestreams, sharing what I know, and showing up online.
So having people recognize me and ask for a photo was something I genuinely appreciated.
It reminded me that you never really know how far your content reaches.
Sometimes, you’re just showing up consistently and doing your thing online.
Then you attend an event and realize that people have actually been watching.
That was definitely one of the unexpected highlights of the event for me.
By Day 2, I already knew my way around the venue.
I spent more time walking around the booths, having conversations, and discovering businesses and tools that I hadn’t heard much about before.
This ended up being one of my favorite parts of the event because I discovered several things that could actually be useful for freelancers, funnel builders, and businesses working with international clients.
I discovered Higlobe, and Bountti. These two caught my attention for completely different reasons.
Higlobe came up naturally in a conversation with someone at their booth.
It’s built for freelancers and businesses receiving payments from international clients.
And that caught my attention because this is especially relevant for many freelancers and online businesses here in the Philippines.
If you’re working with clients abroad, getting paid internationally is a big part of running a freelance or online service business.
So it’s always useful to know what payment options are available and what alternatives you can explore.
I probably wouldn’t have discovered Higlobe that day if I hadn’t walked around and started talking to people at the booths.
And that’s one of the things I love about attending events.
You discover things you weren’t even looking for.
Then there was Bountti, which probably caught my attention the most.
Bountti is positioned as an alternative to Stripe for payment processing.
And if you work with clients who have experienced Stripe limitations, approval issues, or simply can’t use Stripe because it’s unavailable in their country, having another payment processing option can be worth exploring.
As a funnel builder, this is particularly interesting because payment processing is often an important part of the funnel setup.
A beautiful funnel doesn’t matter much if the client can’t successfully accept payments.
So discovering alternative payment solutions is something that can be valuable when you’re working with different types of businesses and clients around the world.
Again, this wasn’t something I specifically went to the event looking for.
I simply came across it while exploring the booths and having conversations.

When people hear HighLevel LIVE Manila, they might think the event is simply about learning how to use GoHighLevel.
But after experiencing it, I think it’s much bigger than that.
There were conversations around AI, automation, marketing, funnels, business systems, scaling, and finding new ways to grow.
But beyond the sessions themselves, there was another layer to the event:
Exposure.
You get to see what other people are building.
You hear how other business owners are approaching problems.
You discover tools you didn’t know existed.
You meet people you’ve only interacted with online.
And you get to hear directly from people who are further along in their journey.
That’s something you can’t completely replicate by watching a recording from home.
You can learn almost anything online today.
There are YouTube videos, courses, webinars, podcasts, Facebook groups, communities, and AI tools that can teach you almost anything you want to know.
So why spend money and time attending a physical event?
For me, the answer is simple:
It’s not always about the information.
It’s about the people.
It’s about the conversations.
It’s about the connections.
It’s about the ideas that come up when you’re surrounded by people who are doing things differently.
Sometimes you discover a new tool.
Sometimes you meet a potential client.
Sometimes you meet someone who becomes a business connection.
Sometimes you hear one idea that changes how you approach your business.
And sometimes, you simply walk away feeling more motivated because you spent two days surrounded by people who are also trying to build something.
That’s the real value of being in the room.
Looking back at the two days, I don’t think I’ll remember every presentation or every detail from the sessions.
What I’ll remember are the moments.
Getting my event pass.
Buying the HighLevel shirt.
Walking around the booths.
Discovering new tools.
Getting a souvenir from Michael Reimer.
Chasing speakers for photos. 😂
Having people recognize me and ask for pictures.
Meeting people I’ve only known online.
Having conversations with people in the industry.
And discovering opportunities I wasn’t even looking for.
That’s what made HighLevel LIVE Manila 2026 memorable for me.
It reminded me that while you can build a business from behind your laptop, you shouldn’t always stay behind it.
Sometimes, you need to step outside your usual routine.
You need to put yourself in a room full of people who are learning, building, and growing.
Because sometimes, you don’t need more information.
You need more exposure.
You need new perspectives.
You need new conversations.
And sometimes, you simply need to be in the right room.
And yes…
I’m still glad I managed to find that condo across the venue just three days before the event. 😂
What started as a last-minute accommodation search turned into two days of learning, networking, discovering new opportunities, and experiencing the GoHighLevel community in person.
And I’m definitely glad I showed up.
